There's lots of discussion here on elevation problems with Forerunners. Do a search and you'll find answers. Bottom line is that Forerunners use GPS for elevation, and GPS isn't very accurate for elevation.

When I am in Basecamp my Track shows Waypoints that I created. But when I transfer the Track to Garmin Connect, it shows the Track, but not the Waypoints. Anybody know why? I have a Garmin Dakota.
