My instinct tactical just started the opposite problem. The gesture backlight is turning on and the settings are set to OFF. So I tried changing the setting to ON and now it does not turn on with wrist gesture. Maybe try changing your setting to OFF.

There is not a direct sync process. You might be able to get it to work by using MyFitnessPal and Fitbit.

Well, I think the threat of further 'percussion tuning' may have done the trick. Intensity minutes are now back. Still don't understand why and I'm still looking seriously at alternatives to Garmin that aren't Apple.
