This Fenix 6 pro is not the cheapest model and I had to pay quite some amount to have this watch.
Do you have data to back up your assertion the cheap Xiaomi watch skews its readings to give the perception of accuracy?
In addition to Garmin-Brooks excellent guide, I might add that phones can sometimes be slow in acquiring GPS indoors (you mention an active wifi connection, so I assume you are indoors). At least standing near a window helps the phone "see" more satellites…
