    The problem suddenly showed up on version 19.20. Wi-Fi now is 655.35, while previously it was, I believe, 2.60. Came out of the blue.

    Yes, it's normal. It depends on your heartrate during your activity. I.e. if you performed an interval session these values are typical

    Contact Garmin for a replacement, if still under warranty. If the altimeter is broken there is very little you can do.
