Second - the various dev teams (web, app, device) need to talk and agree on standardization.

Haha Canadians have been asking for mixed units (metric and statute) in Connect for 10+ years now, but Garmin has steadfastly ignored us. (In Ca…

Unfortunately you can't do anything about it. (Except constantly switch between units, I guess.)

As a Canadian that uses a mix of imperial/statute and metric, it's very frustrating.

If you search the forums, people have been requesting this feature…

Thanks, it's been possible to use mixed units on devices for a long time, which is why I specifically mentioned Garmin Connect.

As users have been asking for mixed units in GC for over ten years (based on the age of some of the threads in the forums…

Exactly which distance do you see on the watch compared to the app?

Maybe you are mixing imperial units with metric. 3 miles is 4.8 km.

You must set the units on both the watch and in the app.

People have been asking for this for like 10+ years, with no luck. It's funny that you can have any mix of units you want on the watch itself, but not Garmin Connect (the website or the app). Too bad for people from the UK or Canada (most Canadians use…

This is just hideously silly. There's a "Metric" setting now which takes effect in only a few places.

Everything else is still lbs and miles. It's pathetic that the whole website is hardcoded in units that 95% of the world population doesn…

    That range is from Wikipedia.

If you check distance from Besishahar to Jomsom, then it's longer.

Google Maps display 148 km on foot and 264 km by car.

Some websites list range 160 km to 260 km, others 160 km to 230 km.

    Rather they just decided to…

I think that it could be you that is being inconsistent - a few posts earlier you complained about using miles for distance and metres for height - now you are talking about using miles and kilometres together although nothing has suggested that this…
