Metric - Statute

I`am from Norway and we are using the metric standard.

I think it`s very annoying that everytime we for example click on a link to GC, the result appear in the statute standard. The text on the site appear in norwegian. Then we have to change it manually. For visitors following a link, its difficult to se the statute/metric button in the corner.

Is it possible to link the number-system (metric/statute) to the text-language on the page, so miles or kilometers will appear automaticly?

This is just hideously silly. There's a "Metric" setting now which takes effect in only a few places.

Everything else is still lbs and miles. It's pathetic that the whole website is hardcoded in units that 95% of the world population doesn't understand or at least needs to convert to something they're familiar with.

Too bad I already bought the watch now.

I appreciate the efforts of translations, but mixing European languages with US units like gallons and lbs is pretty poor.
