  • RE: Adjusting Training Status, Load Focus and Exercise Load

I am also experiencing the same in the early stages for a run. My HRM belt is starting to be a bit old, so I suspect it has to be changed (it's been used for a couple of years now). To prolong its life I try to make it a custom to apply a bit of electrode…

  • RE: How do I increase anerobic load when exercising?

You need an interval workout, with short anaerobic bursts at max effort. You cannot achieve any anaerobic effect with a long effort in Z5. You cannon sustain anaerobic metabolic mode for more than a few tens of seconds (typically up to ~20-30s, at top…

Yes, at the same pace. It is not only the HR that decides whether you are in anaeroby or in aeroby. Please read the following documents explaining it in more details.

  • Forced to select exercise as my rest in a set.

    Hi,

I am trying to create a custom workout on my Venu 2sq.

I selected several exercises with the add round feature, so I have control over the number of sets. The round feature comes with a built in rest period which I like.

Now, when I try to save the…

Not sure whether there are a lot of users familiar with that app, here on the forum. Personally, I am not, and do not know what it is supposed to do, so cannot tell you whether you can add it manually. Basically, you can add workouts of any available type…

The only way is to create "custom" type workout and put exercise name into the notes field. It's far from perfect, but that way I was able to create workouts with a lot of unsupported exercises.

Does anyone know where Garmin posts answers to these comments?  I feel like Garmin's silence is a deafeningly loud message about clients or customers.  I'll say this - I've had am Oura ring and a Fenix for the same two yrs and have not had this kind…

I'm trying to make some yoga routines, but I don't know what an "arch and curl" is without looking it up. Garmin has videos for all the poses, but they're hard to find. And when I add an exercise to a workout, it doesn't show the image…

  • Strength training without sets, reps or specific exercises on Venu 2

I appreciate Garmin’s attempt to stand out from the crowd when it comes to strength training workouts but I would really appreciate an option to perform a strength workout without having to choose which exercise I’m doing or which set or rep I’m on. I…
