  • RE: My Vivoactive 4 keeps powering off after I save an activity and for longer activities it powers off mid-activity and won’t turn back on until I plug it in. When it does power on it shows battery at 50% ish so not due to battery running flat.

I solved this problem by replacing the battery, even if it showed a high charge percentage, it turned off when the activity was stored

Finally, my watch just died. Yesterday, it's start using battery really fast. I charged it twice in same day. And now, it won't start.

Not sure how to share the link from the IQ app, but the app is called 'Battery Widget with automatic charge detection, by dsapptech'.

@8234028 This is not normal. With the setup you describe you should get several days on each charge. I suggest you call Garmin support.

I have the same problem. Even with 90+% charge it switches off after 4 miles. Then when I plug it in, power is 25%

  • Vivoactive 5 draining battery after 12.12 update

Hi, I updated my watch when the notification popped up and from then on my battery drains ridiculously fast. It's a fairly new watch, purchased in September and with my normal use, I only had to charge it once 5-7 days. Yesterday, I charged it while at…

Did you solve this? I have the same problem since 19.05. I tried reset, restart, unpair/pair again, full discharge and charge to 100%, charge to 100% and 1 extra hour, and the problem persists. I don't use pulse oximeter, no "always on display".…

Same thing started happening to me last week. It consistently goes from 100% charged to drained to the point of the screen not powering on in less than 2.5 days. I haven't made any changes to how I'm using it or to the settings, and I used to get about…

I have had it happen a couple of times without timezones involved too. I usually sync by wifi, and then there are no issues. But if I want to charge the watch, and sync by Express while charging from the laptop with USB, it can happen. I think it is a…

Since posting to say it hadn't frozen, my Lily froze once again after about two hours of walking three days ago (at 95% charge).

Since then I haven't had any problems, but I never know when it's going to act up. Especially frustrating because the…
