Yep. Here's my take on the workout screen and fields. Lot's of room for improvement.
The font size for the interval time and target are very small. I can usually see them fine but not in poor lighting or on rough surfaces.
There is no countdown…

Reading the review by DCR i see that is a big disappoint.
The only new feature is the solar, the rest, just minor details from 1030+.
I don't think it is worth the upgrade.
I don't know, it looks pretty good to me! Then again, I only own…

To answer the 100% brightness question. I was out one time and had to rely on the map to get back to where I was staying. The sun was extremely bright (Spain) and I couldn’t see the map with the “auto” setting. I had to keep stopping, remove the sun-glasses…
