I appreciate the fact that the good old Portal, one of the only good watch faces on the Fenix 8 AMOLED generation IMO, has been made available on the Tactix 8 out of the box.
Here are a few of my suggestions for Garmin-Jimmy and team:
- The Barometer if displayed in inHg rounds the value to the nearest whole number, e.g. 29.92 as 30. This is completely irrelevant particularly for aviation use as the sea-level pressure range is reflected in 2 decimal places. The Barometer app has it shown correctly in full so please update this on the face.
- UTC time displays an hour/minute separator even if time is set to display in Military format. This might be intended design but consistency across all time formats on the watch is appreciated.
- Some data gauges when shown in the arc spaces above and below the time display, such as Training Status and VO2max, use their own color as opposed to the one set in the Data Accent. It would be nice if there is a way for them to match.
