Step counter not working on tactix 8

Purchased yesterday and it is not resetting steps on the app or the watch. Please fix this issue.

    I am sorry to hear you are having this issue. Steps are reset at midnight your time. You will want to ensure your watch is on the latest software version 13.71. This can be updated using Garmin Express. 

    Be sure the watch is not in battery saver mode, as this will disable steps and HR as well. 

    If there is no change, I would also recommend trying a hard reset. For this, hold the Light button until the watch shuts off, as opposed to selecting power off. Then power this on again.
