Tactix 7 watch face for Tactix 8

Hi,

on my Tactix 7 51mm MIP screen I am using a fairly simple analog watch face (no busy background, clock hands are not blokcing to much infomration), but it has the possibility to add all the data fields I would like to see. Now on the Tactix 8 - also MIP screen - it looks like that there is not such a analog watch available any longer. Also the data fiels which are avaible to show are very limited and not what I would like to see as a basic information when looking at my watch - beside time&date

Can’t help with your question but I’m missing my favourite face from 7amoled too. Now on 8 amoled and the face is gone. Don’t understand why they couldn’t just keep the old ones and add some new ones in top.
there is one similar but diferent hands and just generally not as good anymore and can’t find this one anywhere in the store too. Disappointed

Hi,

i am also disappointed why all old tactix watch faces are missing. Instead they are adding fenix 8 watch faces whitch are not looking tactical. Also i dont want to pay for tactix watch faces in the store when i have a tactix 8.

don’t know how to upload pic here. This is a simple Tactix amoled face which I can not achieve on Tactix 8 and can’t find anywhere either. It was so good and clean and also looked great on AOD

The Tactix 8 watchfaces don’t really reflect the general feel of the watch otherwise. The Tactix 7 faces are great, these new ones look like they were designed not for functionality but for visuals only. And IMO these are visuals for teenagers.

I was asking the developer whether he has a analog watch face in his protfolio simelar to the Tactix 7 I was using. He told me that he will consider modifying his Portal watch face with analog clock hands.

Meanwhile I am playing arround with his digital version to get familar with the settings. I do not need all the fancy colour staff I just want to see the information I like.

In the past I never used external watch faces because there was in the previous Fenix/Tactix watches always a "speed" problem and I could reach my needs with the internal ones. Now on the Tactix 8 the integrated watches faces are "colourfull" but not "usefull" for my needs.Realy a little bit disapointing.

One of the most absurd things I found in the T8 is the addition of the Fenix watch face. The Tactix model is a distinct line from the Fenix, so Garmin should include all Tactix watch faces in new Tactix models, just as they add all Fenix watch faces to new Fenix models. I hope Garmin revises its approach to watch faces in future releases.
