To Buy Or not To Buy

Well, after multiple years of waiting for Tactix 8 it is finally here .. .. and i am so disappointed. As a user of Tactix 7 Pro Ballistics, i dont see any change. It is effectively exactly same watch with few added gimmicks and based on spec of version i would use even 1mm thicker. What the heck.

Is it just me ? I want to be convinced i should replace my old one, but dont see a reason really except taking amoled for development purposes. Which means i will need to wait another 3-6 years with this level of innovation.

Is it just me, any help around ? :)

Honestly, the only reason I bought tactix 7 Pro was its look and watch face. tactix 8 doesn't look very different than 7, also the watch faces (the two on the website) are uglier than 7 (in my opinion)...

So... unless they have a tactix 8 Pro with upgraded processor (for faster map rendering mostly) and display (ideally microLED), I definitely won't get a new tactix 8.

As an Epix Pro user I wanted this time the Tactix 8 because it finally came in 47mm. After it turned out that the F8 was kinda disappointing, I had no hope that the T8 was any different. At the end of the day, the Tactix is just a glorified version of the Fenix. So unless I can get one with a huge discount I'll wait for the T8P or T9.
