Anyone with long-term use experience with a MARQ 2 for surfing, boogie boarding, body surfing?

I just started using mine for boogie boarding / body surfing. Today in particular, there were some pretty good smack downs and dragging through sand…had me wondering whether this is an acceptable use case outside warranty for a MARQ owner who doesn’t have money to burn?

Read in the forums mixed reports about the Fenix 7 holding up to surfing. a lot of grumbling about inaccuracy as well

My V1 and V2 have been through more than you can imagine and both work great. I would not worry about damage in these scenarios unless you're in some rocky areas in which case I'd be more concerned about…

Regarding accuracy, any time the watch dips underwater it loses satellite and takes some time to get back accuracy. This is a standard limitation of GPS tracking in open water.
