Golf app v14.31

Good afternoon,

i have recently downloaded and installed the last update (v14.31) and a bit confused by the golf application.
i was excepting some major changes (more or less, some screens like the s70’ ones) but it is not the case: the screens are more or less the same as before (the course drawing is as small as before: third part of the screen when it seems that on the s70, it is more or less half of thé screen). The only change i notices was concerning thé ‘Playlike’ fonction. Have i done something wrong ?

Update: i noticed that some holes (par 3) were different (half screen, as on the s70) from the others (par 4 or 5: third screen drawing thé course)

No change between 14.36 and 14.31. A pitty that screens aspect has not changed (and are not thé same as the s70’s ones

There are changes from 14.31 to 14.36.

The user who created this post stated they have version 14.31 installed. There are important changes made in the 14.36 update, which is currently in the process of being rolled out to Approach S70 users.

The most current version of software is version 14.36, which is being rolled out to Approach S70 users to install.

Users may install once the update is released through their account to the device as we continue to rollout the update to everyone.

In this case (if the versions are the same), i don’t understand why the golf course screens are so different (s70 much more good looking)

I can confirm 100% that the versions are not the same. Please refer to the changelog linked above if you would like to see the changes we have implemented with version 14.36

Thanks for your answer. Therefore, do we know when the Marq2 will get the same graphics (golf course draw it) as the s70?

The MARQ Gen 2 series received it's own version of the latest software updates for version 14.36, which contains many updates to golf features, including the updates to the course map graphics.

Thanks for your answer. I have noticed some few visual changes, but thé 14.36 is still far away from the s70. Therefore, have we got any idea if the Marq2 will get in the future the s70 golf screens (and if yes, when ?)

The software is different between the MARQ Gen 2 series and the Approach S70. The MARQ Gen 2 will not be updated to look exactly like the Approach S70 golf screens, or other screens appear. There were changes to the golf features that were previously only offered on the Approach S70 that are now available on other devices like the MARQ Gen 2 series.

Per the change log for the MARQ Gen 2, you will see what changes were made for golf, and as of now those are the only changes available. Any future changes, updates, or improvements will be announced if they become available. No further announcements on changes to golf features are available at this time.
