USB-C PC connection

Trying to update my Marq2 with the USB cable to GarminExpress. Can never get the watch to connect with the PC, the watch is not recognized by the PC…

just wondering if other see this, does not happen with my other Garmin devices.

From my observation

USB-C connection works fine with MacBooks, regarding Windows laptop it doesn't work through direct connect to USB-C port, but it works when I use USB-C-to-UCB-A adapter and plug it in…

I did try through a hub, but I have USB-C only on this laptop

Is MTP (media transfer) enabled on your watch in system settings? check it

Yes checked. Works on one laptop and not another.

strange as the only device, I can not connect !

My MARQ 2 connects to my M1 MacBook Pro, but not my M1 Mac Studio, which it actually causes big issues with such as disabling the fingerprint sensor on the keyboard, which I have to remove and reinstall to get working again.
