Remove scratch...

That’s correct. Add I said, the scratch wasn’t a gouge, but it wouldn’t go away with water, a gentle cleaning solution or a polishing cloth.

I was considering buying a fibre glass pen as noted on another Garmin forum page, but remembered that I have a non-abrasive abrasive pad for the car to remove summertime bugs and thought of the washing up pad which is similar in style.

A sub minute rub with the washing up pad did the job. It may work for others which is why I posted the note.

I know - it's counter intuitive, but the pad abrades detritus without doing any damage. Try, of course, at your own risk, but for me - and my particular situation - the washing pad solution worked.

Just seen this, did you use the yellow or green side of the sponge?

Green. Go easy as I maintain no liability. But in essence, the green side gently abrades the metal. It won't deal with gouges, just the surface.

Of course, I will do it at my own risk. I don’t mind the watch taking a few knocks but after 2 days, with no impacts or activities, it bugging me loll! Appreciate the response!
