White circles appear from time to time

My MARQ 2 adventurer sometimes shows a screen with white circles.

I can click on the minus which removes the outer circles until some red circles are shown (see screenshot).

I went through the manual and tried to find something on Google and also here but I didn't find anything about it.

Does anyone know what it does and how this is being activated?

It's your screen flashlight option. It is quite handy at times. I use mine frequently on my Fenix 7X Solar watch since there are LED lights at the top of my bezel. Other than the Fenix 7X size and the…

It's your screen flashlight option. It is quite handy at times. I use mine frequently on my Fenix 7X Solar watch since there are LED lights at the top of my bezel. Other than the Fenix 7X size and the Enduro 2, the flashlight turns the display on at the brightest setting in all white.

Since the MARQ (Gen 2) series is a bright AMOLED display, the presentation is what you see in your picture and you can adjust it with your up and down buttons.

Other than the shortcut mentioned in the manual, you can add Flashlight as a control menu shortcut.
