Glitch on Marq Gen 2 Athlete signature watch face?

Well, the body battery is green all the time as well. 

On mine, if you change the data color, the body battery color changes as it should. Not so with active calories. 

Would you try changing data color on yours to confirm this is the same with you and not just my watch? I spoke to Garmin support yesterday and they asked for a video showing this which I did. I’d attach the video here also if I could figure how to do it. 

Indeed. Seems to be a bug. The active calories icon doesn't change the xolor.

Garmin got back to me today and said this is how it is supposed to be! Either they do not understand the issue or this is ridiculous. 

I have a feeling that the problem was not understood. 

After more email exchanges with Garmin about this, they confirmed they can replicate the behavior and are now saying this is intended and normal. Imagine defending this. You are forced to have green on your watch face with this data field whether you want it or not. 

That sounds so awkward, that for all the other fields the data color scheme is applied, except for the active calories field. 

I sent my Marq watch back to Garmin today for return. I’m a Garmin watch user since 2015 and will continue to be with my Epix 2, but the fact that Garmin thinks this is fine and users needs to request a fix to an obvious problem boggles my mind. Along with the performance display being wrong, tells me the Marq SW is half baked. I may buy one again in the future if I hear that these issues have been resolved, but for now I’m disappointed in Garmin with these things on a watch at this price point.
