Marq Gen2 Availability

Good question, I ordered mine on release and my status still shows 2-3 so I hope it ships this week or the next …but I do see the main Garmin page change to 5-8

The dates change for a wide variety of reasons. With a new release, it often reflects that it will take multiple shipments between our production and warehouses so someone ordering a new product weeks later to everyone else, are going to see a longer timeline now.

In general, yes. That holds true 99.9% for a new release for those that bought quickly to be in the group that will receive a new watch first worldwide. 

Awesome, so i should still expect mine in a week or two since i ordered when it was released. 

Our Epix (Gen 2) being our first outdoor segment watch with an AMOLED display has been big. If the MARQ (Gen 2) is  equally loved being AMOLED, the delivery dates will continue to push further out as pre-buys continue.

That’s great that its been a big success. Hopefully Garmin will take the success of the Epix and MARQ and build that knowledge into a better supply plan in the future!

Wow so i got an email update from Garmin that my Marq 2 order is delayed until December. Very disappointing since i ordered once they went live.

Has anyone else that ordered get an update or shipping info ?

Looks more like a very popular watch offering with high sales depleting initial shipment quantities, and normal supply chain delays with successive shipments coming by boat from Taiwan.
