Soft reset is OK. Next day is HRV status is ok.

For me the HRV doesn't sync after I've had my watch plugged into my laptop and synced to Garmin connect, every time I charge the watch I clear the app cache on my phone and turn the watch on and off for a workaround
Same with you, Garmin has so many bugs.

I've hit the issue for the 2nd time but this time around, the workaround (unpair, soft-reset, re-pair) did not work - HRV is still missing from the GC app. The main trigger seems to be plugging the device into the PC for charging and syncing with Garmin Express.
Edit: It looks like I will know if it worked only the next day. Let's see.
It worked alright, but only to fail again when I plugged it in for charging. This time I did not even open Garmin Express. So it appears that every time I charge the device, I have to perform the workaround dance.
Garmin - Chris, has the engineering team been able to RCA this yet?
I already wrote that garmin express does not affect it. Once connected via USB the watch must be soft reset to show HRV. This is the only one that works, so far.

HRV not always syncing to Garmin Connect continues to be looked into and remains escalated with our engineering team.
Has Engineering been able to devote time to this bug since the last update? I continue to experience this issue on 14.12 with every charge cycle.
We have not had any new worldwide reports in quite some time.

The tracking case remains open for now as we continue to monitor the changes made being a conclusive resolution.
