Instinct 2 Solar energy saving mode clock bug

Hello,

I own an Instinct 2 Solar since Friday, everything is fine apart from two strange bugs. I'm using the energy saving mode and the 24 hour time display.

My watch seems to have problems when the time changes from 9 am to 10 am. The picture attached was taken at 10:01 am.

Furthermore when it turns 6 pm, it still displays 5 pm but counts the following hours correctly, e.g. when it's 9 pm, it displays 8 pm.

Once I open any menu and return to the main view, the time is displayed correctly again. However, that's not a solution for me, if it happens twice every day.

Anyone else experienced any similar behaviour?

Software Update seems to have solved the problem regarding the 10 am glitch for now

Unfortunately, the software update, a reset and a master reset couldn't fix the problem that my watch can't display the hour changes correctly. Happens about once a day on different hours.

Garmin support is clueless ...

Mine fails to change the hour number sometimes in low power mode, I notice it mostly going from 4pm to 5pm, so it shows it still being one hour earlier than it is until I push a button to wake it up.

As I am doubting that there is a quick fix for my watch, I was wondering if someone could please switch his/her watch (firmware 10.10) to energy saving mode just for one minute at 09:59 o'clock to see if the pixel error occurs when it turns 10:00 o'clock?

Unfortunately happens here every day at 10 o'clock and haven't heard from Garmin support yet.

Before that, check whether you have this issue, which is occur only if the watch in dark place at night.

Thanks for your help! Just checked your issue in the wardrobe - no, don't have it. Have you already reported it to Garmin support?

Same error for me today. Same time too - switching from 9am to 10am. Picture is from 10:09am.

Thanks for testing! I will definitely let you know once Garmin Support gets back to me. The issue was forwarded to the development team in the US on Monday.
