Watch bluetooth connects and disconnects randomly with android phone

having the same problem and no solution, yet. When you restart your phone the problem might be solved for one day till it happens again.

Hey, yeah, I have seen many other threads with same issue but wanted to raise a different one as my phone is different.

I have this issue wherein both the devices are connected via bluetooth (garmin watch shows phone connected), but still does not receive notifs.

Today I turned off 
1. battery restrictions

2. data usage restrictions 

for Garmin connect app and restarted the phone, it's been just an hour and the notifications work. I will see if this helps.

Note that, restarting phone + garmin and pairing again does not work everytime for me.  

I know this from my old Xiaomi phone that I had to disable battery restrictions in many apps in order to have them running correctly. Maybe this was also the solution for you

Unfortunately it's not the solution, the issue continues :/
