Instinct 2S Solar Compass Incorrect

I have an Insinct 2S Solar and the compass always shows the incorrect direction and is inconsistent at that. It shows different compass orientation each time. I tried calibrating it multiple times but it either doesn't successfully calibrate or doesn't help after a successful calibration.

I use the Garmin silicone band, may I know if this is a hardware or software issue and what can be done to fix it?

As reported in the other thread, some users found having the springbars magnetized. It looks like the material is not resistant against magnetizing, when in a proximity of a permanent magnet (such as for example a magnetic phone holder), or in a stronger EM field (such as coils of chargers, speakers, or even some notebooks, etc.). Would be nice if you could try removing both springbars holding the wristband, and repeat the test, to confirm or exclude this possibility.

I think it is ok, it works after a manual calibration, but after some usage time it gets stuck again.
