Garmin Instinct 2 solar backlight not working

Experiencing the same issue on Instinct 2S Solar since updating to 8.10 as well.

I tried all three things and they did not work. My backlight will still not turn on

My issue seemed to have resolved by itself.

Backlight was definitely not working first night after the update. It started working the second night and has been working since.

I had the same issue for a few days not being able to see the clock when I woke up in the dark room, brain was foggy and just went to the backup phone to see it instead however.

I did notice a slight brightness change in the clock in pitch black however.

Backlight settings, hard reset button, settings reset did nothing to fix it.

I was just going to start writing some support ticket and when I plugged it into the computer the backlight suddenly came alive and now it's working as it should..... I am extremely confused.

And now it's back to not working again for me after working since the last incident. Tried the same stupid thing with plugging it in but this time that does nothing. No idea how it randomly got fixed last time.
