Wrong weather data for current location

My Fenix 8 shows incorrect weather data for my current location. To see an accurate forecast, I always have to switch to a secondary location manually.

On my secondary watch Instinct 2, I can fix/set the weather location, and it works perfectly without any issues. Unfortunately, this option seems to be missing on the Fenix 8.

Please consider adding the same manual location selection / fixed location feature to the Fenix 8. This would resolve the issue not only for me, but likely for many other users experiencing inaccurate weather data.

    You can add weather locations to your fenix 8 by following the instructions outlined here: How Do I Add Weather Locations to My Garmin Watch

    Your watch displays weather information from the nearest official weather station, which is often a local airport. This data may differ from what you see in other weather apps on your phone. For the most accurate forecast, your device requests weather data approximately every 20 minutes. If the temperature seems incorrect, it may be because the data hasn't updated recently.

    Here are some suggestions if the weather widget is showing old or incorrect data: 

    1. Power both your smartphone and your fenix 8 off, and then back on. 
    2. Open the Garmin Connect app and sync your watch to pull the latest weather data. 
    3. If the data is recent but still seems wrong, confirm that your temperature units (Fahrenheit or Celsius) are set correctly in your device settings.

    I did it but problem is that still gps location shows wrong weather for my location , and i have to switch manualy(3Xclick) to added location that shows right info. I would appreciate if i can set one permanent location as i can with Garmin instinct in Garmin connect. That would be solve the issue. User can choose between GPS and user selected location.
