Garmin Fenix 8, one of the "corner green led" on the back *always* on

Hi everybody!
I noticed that one of the four "corner green led" on the back of my Fenix 8 Sapphire Solar (the one near the usb connector) is still on, also when the watch is not on my wrist. I tried to put off the heart monitoring, I tried to restart the watch (not the factory reset), Garmin pay is disabled, and so on... That green led is always on. On the net, someone says that it is normal, someone says that it is a software bug, someone says that was a malfunctioning and that Garmin sent a new watch.
Can someone please help me to solve this mistery? Thanks!

I suggest you call Garmin Support and ask them directly.

  • Thanks for your answer. This is what I did, and those are the answers I received:

    1) "that's the sensor for the heart rate monitoring [translated from italian, I'm in Italy]". As you see, not very helpful...

    I rewrote...

    2) "I own a Fenix 8 too, and that led goes off only if the watch is not on my wrist. Is the pulseox active? [No] Did you notice unreal HR data? [No strange data, but at this point I don't know how much accurate]"

I sent my answer and I'm still waiting for a reply.

This is the reason why I wrote here, hoping in a clear answer.

    Thanks again.
