The waterproof life of fenix8 microphone and speaker?

Dear users,

Recently I came across this post, which led to the question about the water resistance of the fenix8.

Fenix 8 adds microphones and speakers. And they are waterproof. After consulting some information, I learned that the waterproofing of this part relies on a material called e-PTFE to block water and pass through sound and air. However, there is no specific data on how long this material lasts. And watches are subjected to harsher environments when diving and outdoors, so is the life of microphone and speaker water resistance need to be considered? There are many users on the forums who are still using Fenix 6 or even older devices, but these devices have fewer cutouts and do not have speakers. So will fenix8 have a shorter waterproof and service life?
