Screen too dim

I cannot read the watch in low light what is going on?the screen is way too dim. I have set brightness to 100 but no effect

The light sensor should be disabled at least on request to overcome this problem

I don’t have the setting on always on and the light button has no effect!

This issue needs to be fixed

This is by design and garmin claims this would be good for whatever reason. But the truth is it's supposed to save battery, so that you can get somewhat close to the completely unrealistic promised battery life.

I’m not sure but after last update 5.33 I noticed slight improvement. I was in the same spot lying on my couch watching tv no lights on and I could read the screen. I’ll see if this is consistent. there is no bug correction list in the upgrade I got might be comming soon. All the best.
