Since the introduction of firmware 15.31, the Fenix 8 - 51 mm/solar non-stop crashes during navigation. This always happens if I have dual band GPS on, watch audio messages and navigation route active. I recently competed in a mountain run and after an hour the Fenix crashed so badly that the watch restarted after 5 minutes. It's annoying that hanging while navigating has already been reported by a lot of Fenix 8 users and Garmin ignores the problem. Fenix 8 also takes too long to analyze the navigation route before displaying it on the map. Training 10 km - the watch analyzes even 5 minutes! Another problem is the thickness and color of the track - currently it is too thin and the red color blends with other points on the map. The much-lauded routing on the watch simply does not work - the user interface works too slowly. In addition - it would be worth updating the maps. The Garmin Connect app cannot map routes in the Austrian Alps and Italian Dolomites. Fix it finally because now the Fenix 8 after a year after its release works worse than the Fenix 7.
