I just upgraded from Shokz OpenRun Pro to the new Bose Ultra Open Earbuds, and the sound quality is night and day—absolutely fantastic for trail running! However, I’ve run into one issue when pairing with my fēnix 8:

Working controls: Volume up/down

Not working: Skip forward, skip back, and pause/play
All other devices I connect the Bose buds to support full media controls without any problem. I found a similar thread here: “Bose earbuds not working correctly with Fenix 8. - fēnix 8 Series - Wearables - Garmin Forums” (in a different mode), but the link provided by a Garmin rep goes to a Cloudflare error page on my end.
Has anyone else experienced this limitation with the fēnix 8 and these earbuds? If so, did you find any firmware update, workaround, or setting change that restored full playback control? Any advice would be much appreciated!
