I get it, it's impossible to please everyone. There were lots of voices asking for larger fonts on the Iron Grit watch face, and you delivered on that. But what I don't understand is taking away the option to keep the older version. It's not too much to ask that the main UI for a luxury/premium $1000 watch feels, well, premium, and the latest iteration of the UI doesn't feel like it. It's on the details - the spacing of icons/data is not consistent, the fact that now steps and other data is not showing the abbreviated version, etc... it translates to what feels like a wonky UI, a not-ready-for-production UI.
I suggest either 1) giving us the customization options, or even easier 2) just release the new UI as a different watch face, and allow users to select which one to use. Or 3) pay attention to those UI details. Again, luxury/premium is all about the details, the balanced UI, the spacing, consistency, etc. I've been a Garmin user for many many years and many watches, etc. I hope this feedback makes it to the software team.
