Fenix 8 crashes when changing sport in Multisport

Hello friends,

When using my Fenix 8 for a Multisport activity, it always crashes when changing sport.

On every occasion, after the first activity (RUN) and changing to the second activity (Pool Swim), the watch will restart itself. I have tried to both 'automatic sport change' and manual shortcut key 'change sport', and gotten the crash.

after the watch reboots, sometimes I am able to continue the Multisport activity, other times, it will crash again. Then my only choice then is to save the first Run activity, then waste time starting a different Pool Swim activity.

Is anyone else facing a similar issue? any tips to avoid this?

    I can confirm this is happening on FW 15.32.

    I change activity type by swiping to the right and selecting new activity type.

    What is awful - the watch falls in continuous boot loop, so constant triangle of death until I manually soft reboot it with long power button press.

    could you please forward the bug to developers.

    I think I found a way to get multisport activity to work!

    under that particular multisport activity configuration, enable Transitions.

    at the end of the first activity(run), press the 'back' button to stop the first activity while moving into transition. press the 'back' button again to stop transition and to start the second activity (pool swim). 

    it worked and there was no crash!

    not sure if that's the intended method for changing sport. because both manual change sport via shortcut button and 'automatic change sport' is not applicable anymore.
