Garmin's Updates Are Killing Their Reputation (And Devices)

Today, my Garmin Fenix 8 rebooted 20 times during an 8-hour hike. I've been using Garmin watches for the past 10 years, but I deeply regret this latest purchase. This will be my last. This is not a one-off issue; it's happening consistently after every update. The device is unreliable and fails to perform essential functions like tracking and navigation, which are critical for outdoor activities.

This is not just a minor inconvenience — it’s a serious safety concern. Garmin markets this device as a tool for outdoor safety, but with every update, the reliability and accuracy are getting worse, potentially putting users in danger.

At this point, it’s clear that Garmin is ignoring the problem and taking us for fools. If this issue isn’t resolved immediately, people should consider legal action for the damages caused by defective products being sold as safe and reliable for outdoor use. Continuing to release faulty firmware updates is unacceptable, and it needs to be addressed NOW.
