swimming heartrate graph exercices

Hi,

I am a freediving athlete in pool. One important information for me is to know the hearbeat in exercices.

Is it possible to view the heartbeat of the session with separatives lines corresponding of the differents exercices included the time/chrono of the exercise. That way we can know the heartbeat we had during a precise exercice. In the same way, I need the oxygene saturation level during exercices during the session. It would be excellent to view all theses information in a graph : time, 02 level, heartrate and the name of the exercices of the sessions mentioned with lines on the graph.

Regards,

  • You can enable recording HR for swim and dive activities (fēnix 8 Series Owner's Manual - Dive Settings), and the HR graph is then visible among the activity charts.

As for the SpO₂, that's unlikely to work reliably. Although you may find Connect IQ apps for recording SpO₂ values during an activity, the PulseOx sensor requires that you stay still during taking the sample, so it is doubtful whether it can take any usable data while you swim underwater.

  • Hi, thanks for your answer.

I saw the HR graph in my pool session that's not my point. What I'm looking for is : the possibility to have a subdivision of the graph with the differents exercices programmed in the session. In that way you can see youor HR during exercice 1, and exercice 2, etc. Without that the exploitation of the HR graph is impossible because you don't know the precise moment and exercice you were doing when you Hr was 85 ou 62. Do you understand what I meen ?

  • You will see that in the same HR graph, if you set the HR as the target in the workout. In the same way as you can see the pace target on the pace graph (gray rectangles):

And when you use the pace as target, then (in GC Web) you can also move the HR graph just under the pace graph, which will help you to see easier the what HR you had during the individual intervals. Besides that, you can also review the Intervals tab, which lists the Avg and Max HR during each interval. For anything beyond that, you can suggest your ideas to Garmin at Share Ideas | Garmin
