Even though the battery saving option has been removed from sleep, why does the watch face still show the battery saving icon when it isn't actually saving any battery?

Even though the battery saving option has been removed from sleep, (been confirmed on this forum) why does the watch face still show the battery saving icon when it isn't actually saving any battery? All power drains are still active WiFi, Bluetooth and phone connection.

  • I guess the only reason is "battery saving" watchface itself, not that it saves much energy, notifications are likely disabled as well. In fact, when I don't forget and turn on airplane mode my 47mm Solar is consuming less than 0.3% an hour which is the smallest I've seen. Usuaully it's around 0.6%
