Fenix 8 US used in Europe

Hello,
I would like to buy a US version of a Garmin watch, possibly the new 970 or Fenix ​​8 AMOLED Sapphire.

Could you please tell me what the expected impact points are, e.g., Garmin Pay, maps, etc.?
Or can we configure it without any problems? Is it paid or free?

    There are only two versions: The world and the Asian world.
    Garmin Pay depends on your bank, maps are world wide (im not quite shure for the APAC version of the watch), ECG is dependent on the country Garmin thinks your account is in (and on the geo location of the phone you want to set the function to on with), but Europe should be fine now.

    You should (better) download the TA Europe map before you start a trip to Europe via Garmin Express. It is also possible via WiF via Map Manager on the device, but the map is big and the download will be very slow. If ecg is once enabled, it works all over the world (as far as I know). No experience with Garmin pay (only still very few banks available here in Germany) - I don´t use it.
