Shot tracking still isn't working, unless you restart the watch after starting the round of golf.
I have reported this in both beta and on here but because Garmin can't answer the question they lock the topic so you can't comment on it.

Updated July 17th, 2025
A hot fix was released to resolve the issue with Autoshot no longer working.
The hot fix was released via update version 15.33 for the fenix 8 series. Please keep an eye out for…
I am having the same issue. I upgraded from an Epix gen 2 that worked well. The new Fenix (Purchased at Christmas 2024) was working until about 2 -3 weeks ago mid-late May 2025, and now the shot tracking…
There is a fix: forums.garmin.com/.../beta-version-15-33---available-ota
The issue on this topic has been resolved through the 15.33 hot fix we made available.
That is not true!!!!
How is it possible that the watch performed well for me up until v15.31was released. Worked well with the power off/on workaround on v15.32 and now with v15.33 has a rubbish performance not detecting lots and lots of shots, especially when you hit the ball perfect.
How can you state the issue is solved, with V15.33
Solved means it works for all users. And seeing the reaction of other users, not everybody agrees with your conclusion.
I have sent you a direct message in relation to your comments above.
Please review the information I have sent to you.
The Autoshot issue specific to this thread is in relation to Autoshot issues after the 15.31 update resulting in the Autoshot detection feature no longer working after a watch has been powered on for a few consecutive days resulting in the watch needing to be powered off and back on to allow the Autoshot feature to then work again.
This has been addressed in the 15.33 hot fix we released. For any golf related issues or concerns going forward outside of the issue...please create a new post and tag me, I will be happy to gather info that falls outside of normal reasons autoshot may not pick up during a round.
I am locking this thread per the Garmin Forums Terms of Use, and due to the concern being fixed in relation to this topic on this thread.
As I stated previously, the specific issue on this thread has been addressed and I have reached out to you privately to explain why your concern is related to normal reasons shots may not be detected from the autoshot feature, as we outline on the support page I linked in my previous comment.
For those with concerns on Autoshot data reflecting on the scorecard, review the information outlined on the My Garmin Golf Watch Is Not Detecting Shots Automatically and if you still cannot determine why an errant shot was missed...please contact Garmin Support so your account and scorecard data can be reviewed by a Golf Specialist to determine what may have caused the concern.
