Golf shot tracking

Shot tracking still isn't working,unless you restart the watch after starting the round of golf.

I have reported this in both beta and on here but because Garmin can't answer the question they lock the topic so you can't comment on it.

I am having the same issue. I upgraded from an Epix gen 2 that worked well. The new Fenix (Purchased at Christmas 2024) was working until about 2 -3 weeks ago mid-late May 2025, and now the shot tracking…

After i updated to 15.32 it worked an entire round today. No need to restart.

Have upgraded to 15.32. First round yesterday worked without turn off/on the watch. Played again today and no autoshot on hole one. Had to turn off/on again and then it worked again. Have a fenix 8 amoled 43. My friend has a fenix 8 as well and has upgraded to 15.32. Autoshot does not work for him. Even after turn off/on. Hope for a stable version soon.

The swing tempo training is also affected by this issue, a restart is needed to work correctly. Fenix 8 51 mm, firmware 15.32. The problem was also occurring in version 15.31,

I am now having the same issue. Shot Tracking ist not working on my Fenix 8 since Yesterday. It all worked fine on prior rounds. Not Sure what happened. maybe an Auto-Update (downgrade). Current Software Version ist 15.32.

Was having the same issue last week when I was out on a round. When I got home I saw there was a 15.32 update. Haven't tested after updating. Hopefully this is resolved soon

Downloaded 15.32, tried last night, worked for a bit - but was intermittent (only picking up half of the shots). Restarted and picked up everything.

Come on Garmin.

Same issue here with auto detection of shots.

@Garmin-Codi: A restart of the watch before a round of golf is not a work around but a joke.

To fix a reproducable bug should be a little bit higher on the priority list for a product which cost around 1000 bucks

Very well said,I raised the issue almost 2 months ago and they chose to ignore it for 4 weeks.
