Request to Modify "Interval Time" Data Field Format – Garmin Fenix 8
Dear Garmin Team,
I’ve been a Garmin user since 2015, primarily using the Fenix 3 for my swim training in the pool. One of the features I truly appreciated was the "Interval Time" data field, which displayed the interval time in the mm.ss,00 format—showing tenths and hundredths of a second. This level of detail is extremely valuable for athletes performing structured intervals and aiming for precision in training.
I’ve recently switched to the Fenix 8, but I noticed that the "Interval Time" field now only shows mm.ss, without tenths and hundredths. This feels like a step backward in terms of precision and usefulness for swim training analysis.
I would kindly request that you consider reintroducing the option to display the "Interval Time" field in mm.ss,00 format. Even better would be to allow an h.mm.ss,00 format in case the interval exceeds 60 minutes.
I believe many swimmers and athletes would greatly benefit from this enhancement.
Thank you for your attention and for your continued support.
