Fenix 8 - anyone happy with his watch?

As usual, the majority of people posting in these forums are people who encounter issues with their product.

My simple but serious question: are there also people who love their Fenix 8 amoled or solar? And why?

Anyone with no issues at all?

Cause I am thinking of buying a Fenix 8, but I am hesitant...

I have a perfect functioning Fenix 7X Pro Sapphire wich I keep on software versionn17.28

I love my watch - Fenix 8 43mm since January 2025. I have had zero issues. I use it for running, walking, hiking, kayaking, indoor treadmill, elliptical, strength training and yoga. I have it connected…

Fenix 8 since January, almost no issues at all. Can honestly say I’m satisfied with it.

I must honestly say that I only use the watch for running...

For distance I use a Stryd.

And I keep my watch on the very stable 17.28 version.

I've had my Fenix 8 51 Solar since December. I have encountered no issues with the watch including battery life.

Ich habe die 7er gehabt, die ist beim Navigieren oder Aufzeichnen regelmäßig abgestürzt-war trotz 6 Monte immer neu Updates nicht mehr zu gebrauchen.

Habe mir dann dummerweise die 8er amoled gekauft. Sie stürzt ebenfalls ab, nur die Abstände sind größer.

Würde ich nicht wieder so machen...

Boring watchfaces (why not use the fenix 7 pro watchfaces?). No autozoom for navigation. No routing options, no navigate app. Highways bug in navigation. This thing is a lot less useful than the fenix 7.

I thought I saw somewhere on youtube that you can create the fenix 7 pro watchfaces yourself by adding and than editing them on the fenix 8, or am I wrong?

Got to be honest. Love my F8 solar 51mm, I also have the epix pro 51mm. I had the 7x 51mm solar. If you're happy with the 7x pro solar and don't need the dive function, keep what you have. Battery life comparable, same elevate 5 HRM, ECG just the screen looks bigger but I think you'll be underwhelmed. If I had the pro I probably would have only upgraded as I do dive. And I want rucking. My epix which I bought for the screen does impress me and does everything My 8 does other than diving. I've had no issues with the 8.

No issues here. Love it! Just would love to be able to disable notification under activity to be in the connect app not on the watch. Like it was when I had the forerunner 965.
