Fenix 8 crashes (blue triangle) during RoundTrip Routing calculation

Hi,

since a couple of days I have an issue with my Fenix 8.

Every time, I start to calculate a RoundTrip routing with the watch, it reboots with the blue triangle. I already did a hard reset.

No change. There is still the option of the factory reset but I'm afraid it is kind an issue like we had by the end of January.

Does anyone has the same issue or can try to calculate a RoundTrip. Softwareversion is 13.37.

    I have had same / similar issues w my watch also. And on top of the very frustrating reboot / blue triangle, the routes ‘calculated’ to whatever destination I’m trying to navigate to, are bogus, and not the most efficient route at all. For example, I was a passenger in a vehicle headed to a town 40 mins away. There is one main road that is pretty much a straight shot to the town, so it’s not complicated or difficult at all, to get to, say, without navigation. But I was testing the unit out and wanted to customize my data screens. The ‘ calculated routes’ it kept giving me would have me turn off the main road, do some crazy zig zag path until it finally brought me back onto the same road it should have kept me on. Like just blatantly obvious, incorrect / inefficient route calculation. It should have kept me on the same main road. It is the known fastest easiest route for the people who live in this state. 

    I have tried the route calculator during hikes and it seemed to be able to pick up the most efficient trails that I was around. So I had no issues there. I’m not sure what the deal is, but it definitely felt buggy and insufficient. Very frustrating spending so much money on this and it has problems doing these things (and much more) . I’ve been testing my previous epix gen 2 nav against the fenix 8 now, so we’ll see…

    In my case, any navigation during activity reboots the watch. I have reported this to Garmin and sent logs, but navigation is not usable in my watch at all. If this is not resolved quickly, then I'll will claim this watch is not as per the specification, as the features advertised does not work for my unit.
