How to cleanup the locations folder on my fenix 8

Question

Synch with Garmin Explore add 1000 positions in the Location Folder. I delete one by one but... Can I just delete the Location folder in the fenix 8 ?

Maybe, it might be automatically recreated by the OS. You could try deleting and then recreating yourself. 
 
 FYI, there is only 1 file in my locations folder - lctns.fit 4.12 KB

 Then you have not sorted your collections correctly. Select the relevant collection that you want to synchronize.

 Correct. That is why the waypoints should not be deleted, but sorted into a collection in Explore, and then the corresponding collection in Explore should simply be deselected from synchronization. They are then deleted from the watch after next sync, but are not lost and are still available in Explore.
