When I turn on the 'Live Event Sharing' option and start the activity, the watch restarts with a blue triangle. I’ve also done a factory reset, but it didn’t help. Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

You are probably right that it is related to the paywall as it seems we all started to discover this issue only a few days/weeks after the release and that they indeed made modifications to LiveTrack with the new feature to send the LiveTrack links directly through SMS. But I don't think they actually modified the Live event sharing itself. Maybe only its implementation.
Can anyone confirm if it works if you have Connect+? I've contacted Garmin support and I'm waiting for a reply from them as well.
I would suggest doing a test if you plan to use it on race day. Just pick a single contact, enable it and try to start a run. Also, try and turn off your phone Bluetooth, then turn it back on and see if it doesn't crash. Be aware, if you try this, it might make your watch enter a reboot loop that you can normally exit only if you turn your phone Bluetooth off (if I remember correctly my own attempts)
Doesn't work - two different watches - Fenix 8 and Forerunner 265. The same situation with blue triangle. If the phone has Bluetooth connection and Live Event Sharing turn on - bootloop directly after start the activity. A nightmare if somebody doesn't know about this bug during race day.
I am having this same issue on my 955
Same issue on my Forerunner 265s :(
Same issue here on my 265s, really hope there is a fix :(
I have a f7x pro, I don't get the blue triangle or shut down, but when I start and finish the event it pings multiple messages all the same to the same person, and during the event it sends no texts regardless of whether it's a time or distance interval setting
The latest Beta SW15.27 has bug fixes related to Live Event Sharing. The problem has globally affected all models and all Beta have received an update. Stable software for Fenix 8 will be released soon. Forerrunners have already received official software from what I understand. I don't know how the situation is in the F7 series and Epix2 and the Pro version. But Garmin is gradually implementing these fixes.
