Anyone else have software version 11.92? Background info: I had a previous Fenix 8 solar that became unstable (multiple random crashes) after letting the watch automatically update to software version 13.31. I rolled back to software version 12.35 and my watch was still plagued with random crashes, so obviously the rollback didn't fix the issue. I finally sent that watch in for warranty replacement and received what appeared to be a new watch in return. I immediately turned off automatic software updates on that new watch before connecting it to Garmin Connect. (Didn't want the watch automatically updating to a buggy software version that had caused issues with my previous watch.) When I initially looked, I am pretty sure the software version was 11.90. I've not had any issues with the watch and all functions appear to be operating normally. Several days later I checked to ensure automatic updates were still turned off and they were; however, now my software version bundle as seen on the "about" page is version 11.92. When I scroll through the subsequent about pages, Host is listed as 11.92 and "Delta Updates Download" is listed as enabled. When I look at the published software versions on the Beta pages, 11.90 is the latest 11.xx version listed and there is no version 11.92, with the next available Beta update being 12.09.
So what gives? How can I have software version 11.92 installed on this watch if there is no published 11.92 software version? Are there "production" software versions that are not released to the public? Or, is this a "delta update" because that was enabled on my watch? And what are "delta updates"? There doesn't appear to be any way to configure whether these delta updates are enabled or not.
Very curious for an explanation of what software fixes/updates version 11.92 includes. (Right now I have NO issues with the watch, so will probably keep automatic updates turned off until 13.xx seems more stable.)
