Answering phonecall - audio to earbuds/headset when already using headset

13.35 Fenix 8.

Using headset/earbuds/Samsung Buds 3 Pro and receiving a phone call, when answering the call with button-press on Fenix 8, the call ends up in the Fenix 8 speaker and not in the earbuds.

Removing earbuds from the ears - and reinserting/reconnecting earbuds - then auto-transfers the call to the earbuds.

If not using headset/earbuds the phone call ends up in the Fenix 8 speaker which is logical, but when using earbuds in the ear I would think that it is most practical to auto-transfer the phone call to the earbuds - when answering the phonecall with button-press on the Fenix 8.

Hope this can be fixed.

    Hello. I am sorry to hear you are having this issue. I would love to help investigate this. Do you have the Bluetooth headset paired with the watch only? Or is this paired with the phone, or the phone and watch both? It is recommended to have this paired with the watch only.

    Galaxy Buds is paired to the phone, which is the normal way to pair BT-headset. Always has, always will - as with my old Fenix 6 Pro.

    The problem is only when using the headset and answering the call with the button on the Fenix 8.

    Now, on Fenix 6 there was no problem because Fenix 6 does not have a mic/speaker so when answering the call on Fenix 6 the call always went to the BT-headset paired to my phone.

    But when using Fenix 8 it does not. Only if starting to use the BT-headset after the call is in progress then the call will transfer to BT-headset.

    In all other cases I have to manually transfer the call from Fenix 8 speaker to my BT-headset.

    I have discovered this recently/ F8 51 AMOLED FW 13.35. So I take my phone for runs and music is playing to the paired headphones (Soundpeats 3 pro+). Fist time happened my son called me during the run, so I was not searching for the prone, just answered on the watch. I was surprised not to hear anything on headphones, it was on the watch speaker instead. So I had to remove speaker from my ears to talk to him, then after call was over I have put my headphones again to ears, but music was stopped from playing, so I had to stop to get my phone from the pocket, unlock it and resume music again. That is so terrible, that I was complaining to myself for the whole training. Gosh and this high tech is suppose to make you more effective , but it works opposite, it just makes the worse feelings from you.
