Fenix 8 47mm Amoled - Heart rate issue?

Hi,

I have a Fenix 8.

During some Nordic Walking activites, I noticed, that the shown heart rate was completely wrong.

The average speed was about 6km/h with on a path with some slight incline.

I started the activity with 106 bpm, during the activity the heart rate went down to 65-80, average 72bpm.

I changed the position of my watch several times without any result.

I have seen this issue in other activities (cycling, running) too.

Does anybody has same problems and a solution.

I have the same issue with my Fenix 8 Solar (47 mm). During walking the heart rate shown is around 30 - 50% lower than it should be. As soon as i end the activity, the heart rate shown in rest is accurate again.

I have the feeling that heart rate during walks is completely off. I did some testing during runs and heart rate was spot on (compared to polar chest band). During my walks I sometimes get <30 beats which seems way too low. Still figuring out if this is indeed a wrong measurement…
