Garmin Fenix8 keeps crashing FW13.35

Even After Factory reset the device keeps crashing, just by entering menu, activity, light, … and so on.

The device worked nicely befor 13.35

what can i do to get my device working…

I’d be interested to know if there really are any Fenix 8 units without issues. There are always people claiming that everything works perfectly for them!? Are we just part of the 1% who experience bugs? If a replacement would actually help, I’d go for it. I constantly have the feeling that only some Fenix 8 devices have problems, and mine is one of them. If I knew that everyone was affected, it would actually be more reassuring. But I guess the people in this forum are mostly those who have a problem.

So the first week is over with my new device. I had really no issues with it, and I was testing it out a lot. Still no opinion about if it was a hardware or software problem of my device. I don’t care as long as my current device is fine. This is something Garmin has to figure out.

Did you restore a backup of your old watch or set it up as a new device? Keep us updated. It would also be interesting to see how it performs after an update.

I set it up as a new device, installed the Spotify app and a watch face. After that I updated the fw to 13.35 ( I can't remember which fw was original on the watch, maybe 11.x or 12.x)

Now it’s running 8 days without any issues. I didn’t change any use cases.
still keeping fingers crossed that no crashes occur.

Never had a crash on F8 since release....(or on Epix2 or F6).
Only minor problems fixed by FW updates long time ago.
Now on 15.18b, working perfectly.

Can you explain this again? How often is there a live update, not beta? I read somewhere in the forum that it’s only quarterly. But that can’t be right, because since I’ve had the Fenix, I’ve already received several updates. However, the beta is already at 15.xx and the live version is only at 13.35!? Does that mean I have to wait another two months for an update and hope that my bug is fixed then?
