Sleep Tracking doesn't work.

I've bought a fenix 8 two weeks ago, the sleep tracker has given me once a more or less accurate reading,

all the other times it either doesn't record anything or only a very short period.

The heartrate monitor works fine, battery saver is during sleep schedule off, HRV is on.
I wear the watch like explained in the video (not too tight, not too lose, when I move the watch, the skin around it moves with it.)

According to the watch, I'm constantly stressed during the day but the stress as well as the heart rate goes down considerably during the night (according to the watch).

It's quite frustrating, the body battery and training assistant etc don't work properly because the watch things I never recover.

I paid A$1,850 for the watch and my patience is low. I will return the watch if there isn't a solution for the problem.

Any ideas what to check?

  • I think it takes around 19 days worth of data to get a baseline of YOUR HRV and stress levels (HRV can differ significantly from person to person), and to start to provide personalised insights.

Stress during the day, and lower stress at night is pretty much how it supposed to work.

  • So does that mean that my sleep insights are also getting more accurate in lets say, 20 or 30 days?
