Can anyone confirm that a fenix 8 amoled 51mm bluetooth pairing works with a samsung galaxy s25 ultra?

Is anybody able to confirm that a Fenix 8 (51mm amoled if that matters) will bluetooth pair with a Samsung Galaxy S25 ultra?

I ask this because my four year old Fenix 6 which has paired fine with my S20 for this time refuses to pair with new phone.

This problem has been with second level Garmin support for some time now with no resolution.

I am thinking of getting a Fenix 8, but don't want to buy one without being sure it will work kwith Samsungs latest phone.

fēnix® 8 – 51 mm, AMOLED Sapphire, Titanium pairs no problem with the Samsung Galaxy S25+

Also, paired with no problems with my previous Samsung Galaxy S24+

I have the Fenix 6s and the S23 Ultra and it has begun to disconnect from my phone constantly after a Connect update. I don't plan on buying a new Samsung or Garmin until this is fixed. Should be able to have these $$$ devices for more than a few years.

That's very similar with what happened with me. I copied all data and apps from my S20 ultra to the new S25 Ultra.

The Fenix 6 worked with it for about a day then started disconnecting. After around ten disconnects it refused to pair ever again. Did not show in bluetooth. Even tried clearing bluetooth settings etc and restoring again from old phone, no joy.

What really annoys is that Garmin suggested they had never seen this problem and I had to send them logs and videos as its so unusual. Perhaps look at their own forum.
